Largemouth Bass Fishing at Night

Fishing for bass at night can be both exciting and
frustrating.  The best time of year for night fishing is the
summer.  Fish are very active and they will continue to
feed through the night.  The best days for fishing at
night are the worst days for fishing during the day.
When you have a hot, sunny day in the summer, fishing
    will be good at night.

These fish will be sluggish throughout most of the day because of the high water temperatures.  As the water cools throughout the night, bass will feed.

Topwater lures are most popular with fishermen.  The best topwater lures for night fishing are crawlers.  These lures crawl along the surface with a
steady, wobbling action that drive bass crazy.  Bass can find these lures a lot easier than other topwater lures.  Some bass fishermen claim they have
success with plastic worms, spinnerbaits or even crankbaits at night.  You should try using the crawlers first, then switch over to other baits if they are
    not working.
