ATM - Using it out of country
ATM cards seem to be a good way to exchange money when
traveling out of the country. In most countries, they will be a
better choice than using cash or a traveler's check to
exchange your money. You just have to make sure to
research the country you are visiting and your bank.
Compare the fees to the other forms of exchanging money. A
credit card, cash or a traveler's check could turn out to be
better than an ATM card in some countries, so you just have
to do the research and find out what is best. Other countries
could also have their ATM systems set up differently.

Make sure that the ATM machines will accept cards from your bank and see if their pin # system is set up the same. Other countries could use
letters and numbers or have a system that uses more than 4 numbers.
