Fishing
The St. Germain area offers some excellent fishing. Most people
spend their time on Big St. Germain Lake and Little St. Germain
Lake. You can catch largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern
pike, walleye, muskie, crappie, bluegill and perch. The spring is
best for fishing as you can target many species in shallower
water. In the summer, the fishing is still good and the weather is
warm enough for a variety of outdoor activities. This is the
perfect time for a family vacation. If you have some time off in the
fall, plan a muskie fishing trip. The fishing is excellent in the fall
for walleye and muskie, but most anglers come up here in the fall
to land a trophy muskie.
