The communities of Phelps, Conover and
the Land O' Lakes are smaller towns
located in the northwoods of Wisconsin.
They are situated near the border of
Wisconsin and the the upper peninsula of
Michigan just north of Eagle River. This
area is a nice place to get away from it

is good from the opener through winter. Walleye and Muskie are
the dominant species. Smallmouth and largemouth bass,
northern pike and panfish are in the area lakes also.
