Reelfoot Lake is located in the northwestern corner of Tennessee.  The lake is known
for its fishing and hunting.  This lake has plenty of wildlife with almost every type of
shore and wading bird as well as bald eagles.  The Reelfoot Lake State Park has some
nice lodging options to accommodate you on a trip to the lake.  There are other types
of lodging around the lake as well.  Reelfoot Lake is a shallow lake with an average
depth around 6 feet and a maximum depth of 18 feet.  Fishing is very good for crappie,
bass and catfish.  Crappie fishing picks up in February and gets really good in the
months of March and April.
