    Google Map of Lake Sharpe
Lake Sharpe is a part of the Missouri
River system.  The lake flows for about
80 miles from Pierre, South Dakota
(Lake Oahe) to the Big Bend Dam at
Fort Thompson.  Lake Sharpe
resembles more of a river than a lake and it produces some
excellent walleye fishing as well as sauger, catfish and even
some smaller numbers of trout.  If you are looking to plan a
fishing trip, there are plenty of walleye here, but you won't find all
of the resorts and hotels that will on
Lake Oahe.
