Lake Jocassee is a 7,500 acre lake with deep, cool water that is fed by the
Appalachian Mountain rivers. The water is cool year-round, which helps to make this
lake an excellent fishing lake for rainbow and brown trout. There are also smallmouth
bass, largemouth bass, spotted bass, catfish and panfish here.
