The region of East Bay, Rhode Island is made up of the towns of Barrington, Bristol,
East Providence and Warren. This area is known for the historic Bristol Harbor and it is
home to the oldest 4th of July parade in the United States. This area is definitely not a
major tourist destination, but it is a unique travel destination and there are plenty of bed
and breakfasts and inns to accommodate you on your trip. The fishing is excellent and
there are a couple of charters that operate out of Bristol that can set you up with a
fishing trip for striped bass, bluefish, flounder, sea bass, tuna or sharks. Striped bass
fishing is most popular and there are plenty of trophies to be caught out of the Bristol
