Erie, Pennsylvania is an industrial city with a population of over 100,000 people and it
is known for its lake effect snow. This city is located on the shores of Lake Erie, making
it a popular spot among fishermen and boaters. There are a variety of fish that inhabit
the waters outside of Erie. Most anglers fish for walleye, smallmouth bass and perch,
but you can also catch salmon and trout. Presque Isle Bay is a favorite of many
boaters and fishermen because the bay provides some shelter from the wind allowing
them to be on the water when other parts of Lake Erie would be too rough.
