Lorain is a city that is located in Lorain County on the shores of Lake Erie and at the
mouth of the Black River. Lorain is about 30 miles west of Cleveland, Ohio. Lorain is
not as popular as some of the other ports on Lake Erie, but the central basin of Lake
Erie can produce some excellent fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, perch and
steelhead.
