Emigrant is an unincorporated community that is located in Park County Montana,
about 20 miles south of Livingston and 30 miles north of Yellowstone Park. With a just
a few hundred people living in this town, it is not built up very much. There are a few
places to stay as well as just a few fishing guides in the area. If you're looking to get
away from everything and enjoy some peaceful fly fishing, this area might be perfect
for you. Emigrant is located on the Yellowstone River, which is an outstanding river for
trout fishing.
