Biloxi is located on the Gulf of Mexico. It is a popular vacation destination because of
its casinos, beaches and outstanding saltwater fishing. The beaches lie directly on the
Mississippi Sound and there are barrier islands scattered off of the coast. The fishing
is excellent in the waters off of Biloxi. This area is known for its deep sea / offshore
fishing. There are plenty of shallow water opportunities as well with the barrier islands
nearby. There are a variety of fish to catch such as redfish, snapper, cobia, shark,
grouper, shark and others.
