The Kalamazoo River is located in the southwest portion of Michigan. Salmon and
trout ascend Swan Creek in the spring and fall of every year. The upstream end of
these fish runs is the Swan Creek Impoundment. The lower end of the Kalamazoo
River has 3 small tributary streams called Mann, Bear and Sand creeks. Mann and
Sand creeks are primarily brook trout streams and Bear has brown trout. For
