The Betsie River is located in Grand Traverse, Benzie and Manistee counties of
Michigan. This stream begins at Green Lake near the town of Interlochen and flows
west towards Betsie Lake and Lake Michigan near Elberta and Frankfort.   The Betsie
River contains about 93 miles of streams and 52 miles of them are considered
mainstream.  This river produces some very good fishing for salmon, rainbow trout
