Lake Cumberland is a large lake
located in southern Kentucky.
Because of its temperate climate, Lake
Cumberland has a very long
recreational season that thousands of
visitors take advantage of every year.

destination for people that enjoy

boating, swimming, fishing and just relaxing by the lake. Fishing
is very popular for a variety of species, however, most people
come here for the tremendous striped bass fishery. Stripers
from 5 to 15 pounds are common with many fish in the 20 to 30
pound class. Many other species are also present such as
brown trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, walleye, sauger,
largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, crappie and
bluegill.
