Florida Fly Fishing
Fly fishing in Florida is all about targeting a number of
saltwater species.  There are fly fishermen in Florida
that target bass or panfish, but most anglers that fly
fish are heading to saltwater.  Bonefish, tarpon, snook,
redfish and permit are the most popular species that fly
fishermen will target in Florida.  Certain situations will
provide fishermen an advantage when using the fly, but
most of the fly fishermen just prefer the art of fly fishing
over a spinning or bait-casting rod.  Most of the state
will provide you with some fly-fishing opportunities for
redfish, snook, tarpon and permit.  If you are looking for
bonefish, head to the
Florida Keys.
