Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island are a couple of smaller towns located in Sussex
County, Delaware. This area is known as "The Quiet Resorts, " which is quite different
from the wild atmostsphere of nearby Dewey Beach. This area is quieter and more
peaceful, but there are still plenty of people that flock to the summer resort towns of
Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. Many people enjoy the beaches and there are
quite a few hotels and motels to go along with many vacation rentals to choose from.
The fishing is very good for a variety of species and there are fishing charters available
for inshore and offshore fishing trips. You can catch plenty of fish inshore, offshore
and in the surf. Some of the species that anglers catch are striped bass, sea trout,
bluefish, flounder, kingfish, spot, croaker, blowfish, sharks, mackerel and tuna.
