Redding is considered by many to be the trout fishing capital of California. This town
offers plenty of fly fishing opportunities in the nearby rivers. If you're more into fishing
on a lake, Shasta Lake is only about 8 miles north of Redding. There are so many
species of fish in Shasta Lake, however, most anglers come here to fish for rainbow
