Lake Camanche is located east of Lodi off highways 12 and 88. It is a great destination
for a getaway. The lake offers plenty of recreational opportunities such as fishing,
boating and camping.
The south shore offers a fully stocked trout pond. Marinas are available on the north
and south shores and they have boat rentals, boat slips, bait, tackle and supplies.
Lake Camanche is known for its excellent largemouth bass fishing, but anglers also
catch smallmouth bass, trout, spotted bass, catfish, kokanee, crappie and sunfish.
The Camanche Recreation Area is a public facility and it is operated by an agreement
with the East Bay Municipal Utility District by the California Parks Companies.
