California offers some of the finest bass fishing in the country. Many other species are
available in the numerous lakes to go along with some excellent saltwater fishing along
the coast. Southern California offers a variety of species such as tuna, dorado,
mackerel, barracuda and others while Northern California offers fishing for salmon,
halibut, rockfish and lingcod. *There are many popular destinations that we are not
listing for the 2008 season because the salmon season is closed for 2008. For more
