Bull Shoals Lake is located on the border of Missouri and Arkansas. This page will
focus on the Arkansas portion of Bull Shoals Lake. This area is located in the
Arkansas Ozarks and it truly offers a unique vacation destination. You can enjoy
fishing, boating, hiking or just relaxing around the lake. This region has plenty of
accommodations, boat rentals and restaurants, but it is also uncrowded, making it a
wonderful destination to get away from it all. The lake covers 45,400 acres with about
730 miles of shoreline consisting of rubble, limestone, ledges, gravel points, clay banks
and silty areas at the upper ends of the creek arms. The lake offers good fishing for
largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, spotted bass, channel catfish, blue catfish,
flathead catfish, rainbow trout and white bass. Striped bass and brown trout are also in
Bull Shoals Lake, but in much smaller numbers than some of the other species.
