Roosevelt Lake is a very big man-made lake that formed with the creation of the
Theodore Roosevelt Dam. The dam is located on the Salt River located Northeast of
Phoenix, Arizona and the dam is 357 feet high. Roosevelt Lake is a popular lake for
outdoor recreation. Covering around 17,000 acres, this lake is big enough to
accommodate plenty of boaters and fishermen. Anglers can catch largemouth bass,
smallmouth bass, catfish, crappie and bluegill.
