Canyon Lake is located about 50 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona. This lake is the
smallest lake of the Salt River projects. It is a popular lake for fishing, boating,
swimming and camping. There is a marina and campground on the lake that has a
beach area as well as services to take care of your boating and camping needs.
Fishermen can catch largemouth bass, walleye, rainbow trout, catfish, crappie and
yellow bass.
