Whittier is the western gateway to the Prince William Sound. This town is surrounded
by glaciers, mountains and waterfalls. It's scenery is breath-taking and the fishing is
outstanding. Fishing in Whittier consists of saltwater fishing for five species of salmon,
halibut, lingcod and rockfish. This is a smaller town, so you won't have the crowds
here, but there are enough places to stay and plenty of fishing charters available to
take you out on a trip.
