Skagway, located close to Haines, has an amazing backdrop for scenery with
snow-capped mountains and tons of wildlife. The town is small, but there are some
hotels, bed and breakfasts and other types of lodging to accommodate you. Fishing
charters are also available for some spectacular saltwater fishing. All 5 species of
Pacific salmon are available as well as monster halibut.
