Logan Martin Reservoir is located in east-central Alabama on the Coosa River,
approximately 30 miles east of Birmingham (the lake borders St. Clair and Talladega
counties).  The reservoir contains 15,263 acres and stretches 48.5 miles from the dam
upstream to Neely Henry dam.

Fishing: Largemouth and spotted bass are the main species here.  Largemouth are
abundant in the 1-3 pound range and spotted are abundant in the 2-4 pound range.
Crappie fishing is excellent at Logan Martin Lake.  The spring spawn offers tremendous
fishing.  The fall can be very good for crappie also.  Striped, white, and hybrid bass
make their spring runs upriver to the Neely Henry dam.  Fishing for these fish at the
dam starts in March and runs through the summer.
