Fishing: Lake Eufaula has had a national repuation for great
bass fishing since being impounded in the 1960s. Bass fishing is
still very popular. Largemouth bass are the primary species,
however, some spotted bass are here as well.

Catfish and crappie fishing is excllent on Lake Eufaula. During
the spring crappie spawn, anglers can catch a lot of fish
anywhere that they can find submerged trees and other shallow
structures. You can also catch hybrid striped bass, white bass,
and bream.
