Orlando, Florida


  • The fishing was very good.  I didn't bring my hook set on this trip.  I lost at least 8 to 10 bass in 2
    days and one was very big.  I did catch quite a few bass during my stay.  Lots of fish in the 2 to 3.5
    pound range and a 7# bass caught by my guide, which we were able to get on video.  We fished 2
    consecutive days in the morning and we were able to get some video of the trip as well.  

  • Our guide, Tim Fey was very professional and he put me on fish right away.  I fished mostly with
    crankbaits, but we could have caught a lot more if we just used live shiners.

  • The lodging was excellent.  We had a very nice vacation home from Pleasant Stays with more room
    than we needed.  It would have been perfect for a family visiting the Orlando area.  The heated pool
    was excellent as well.

My Recommendation:  This was a great trip.  I love the Orlando area anyways, but it was nice to be
able to do some fishing while I was there.  I was in Orlando for 3 days and I was able to catch some nice
bass, hit the beaches one day, get some work done and head home.  I highly recommend Pleasant Stays
 and Tim Fey's Guide Service.
