Lake Erie’s tributary streams were painfully low until Thursday morning, when rains had them flowing high and muddy. Conditions are expected to be near perfect by the weekend said Matt Hrycyk of Poor Ricjard’s Bait and Tackle in Erie. Anglers were getting steelhead early this week, he added, on single eggs, minnows and small flies — and on Powerbait near the creek mouths……..
