Plastic Worms are one of the most effective, yet
inexpensive baits every produced in the world of fishing.  
They are so effective around all types of cover and if you
do happen to lose one, it doesn't cost you very much like
some of the high-tech lures today.  Plastic worms are very
effective in all types of conditions.  They are the most
popular lure among bass fishermen and that probably
won't ever change.  

How To Use Plastic Worms
There are a few different ways to use plastic worms.  You
can rig a worm on a bass-sized hook with no weight.  You
could also use the carolina rig, texas rig, drop-shot, wacky
style, a jighead, or even just a small split shot about a foot
in front of the worm.

Where To Use Plastic Worms
Plastic worms can be used anywhere.  There are weedless
hooks, so they are very effective around weeds.  You can
fish shallow water with no weight.  In 6 to 8 feet of water,
the drop-shot is very effective.  For catching bass in deep
water, you have the option of the carolina rig or texas rig.  
Plastic worms are one of the most versatile baits on the
market.

Types of Fish Caught on Plastic Worms
Plastic worms were made for bass fishing and they
definitely catch a lot of bass.  Plastic worms have started to
become very popular with walleye fishermen.  Anglers will
jig different styles of worms and they are very effective with
a spinner-worm rig.  You can catch other types of fish, but
bass and walleye are most common.

Problems With Using Plastic Worms
Some anglers don't have the patience to use a plastic
worm.  When these anglers fish a plastic worms, they work
it too fast and they don't use it long enough to get the
desired results.  You must have patience when fishing the
plastic worm.  They work if you work them correctly.
