Corn is one of the best baits for catching carp. It will also catch
catfish, but this is an unbelievable bait for carp. You can use a few
kernels of corn on a single hook and it will out fish most other baits
day in and day out. If you pour a can of corn into a sandwich bag,
add a little vanilla extract, close the bag and shake it up, you will have
a whole can of corn that is flavored with vanilla extract. Just add a
tablespoon or less per can and you will have a lot more success.
Carp love this deadly combination and they will hold onto this bait
longer allowing you to get a good hook set.
