How To Fish Walleye

Walleye can be a tough fish to catch if you don’t understand them.  Walleye are typically located near the bottom in deeper water, although, you can catch walleye in 4 to 5 feet of water at certain times of the year and in certain situations.

Walleye feed heavier during low-light conditions and many of the top walleye anglers do their best fishing when they can locate schools of walleye.

Some good lures and baits:  crankbaits, spinner rigs, jig and minnow, jig and nightcrawler, jig and leech.
