A fishing lure is an object that is designed to imitate a type of
bait or forage that a fish typically eats. Some lures do a great
job of imitating an exact type of bait or bait fish, while others
may be built to look a little different so they stand out. On
some bodies of water, you can increase your catch rate
tremendously by using something completely different from
other anglers. This works better on lakes that have heavy
