Key West Tuna: Fishing for Tuna in Key West
Key West has some excellent fishing for tuna. While most of the tuna that are caught are blackfin tuna in the 2 to 20 pound range, it is not unheard of to catch yellowfin tuna. Yellowfin tuna grow up to 200 pounds or more. Fall through Spring are probably considered the peak times for catching tuna in Key West, but they are available year-round down here.
