Soft Plastics for saltwater fishing differ from freshwater because of the
different types of saltwater forage.  With saltwater fishing, crabs, shrimp,
minnows and small bait fish are the primary food source for bigger fish.  
The saltwater soft plastics resembles these types of food.  Plastic shrimp
and crab are very popular as well as many minnow type baits including
swimbaits.  When using saltwater soft plastics, try to resemble the forage
that fish are feeding on in your area and you should catch more fish.
