The Ledges is owned and operated year-round by Everett and Caroline Taylor and their three children, Luke, Victoria, and Dominique. In addition, Ledges employs a full time manager, chef, guides and various other staff.

The Ledges was built in 1997 by Caroline and Everett who wanted to develop a unique outfitting business they could call their own. Everett, being a 6th generation guide, has been fishing and hunting all of his life and has an inherent and deep appreciation for the Miramichi River and its natural surroundings. For him, making guiding a family business was a natural step. Caroline’s love of people, her business background, and her enthusiasm for the outdoors, combined with Everett’s knowledge and skill of outfitting, made a perfect combination to establish a business that goes beyond the traditional hunting or fishing camp.
