Anglers should continue to use caution where there has been marginal safe ice. Rain/sleet/snow 1/18/08 may have resulted in conditions being less safe. The warm weather this week softened much of the top layer and melted ice against the shore in some locations. Ice anglers should use extreme caution. The following report is based on angling before there was degradation of ice conditions.
