Red Lake is located north of Lake of the Woods, Eagle Lake and Lac Seul. This area
is known as the "Norseman Capital of the World", referring to the Noorduyn Norseman
aircraft which played a significant role in the development of the area. The lake has
some outstanding fishing for northern pike, walleye and lake trout with many trophy fish
coming out of this lake every year.
