Kawartha Lakes Fishing (Ontario) The Kawartha Lakes region is smaller than some of the other regions, but it has some outstanding fishing opportunities. Smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, muskie, walleye and salmon are the most targeted species in this region, but many other species are available such as northern pike, lake trout, brown trout, panfish and more.
