Trolling Motors
Trolling motors are much smaller than outboard engines.
Trolling motors are usually electric-powered with a battery
that provides the power.  They are typically mounted to the
front of the boat, although some smaller boats are better
suited with them attached to the back.  With row boats,
people usually attach the trolling motor to the back of the
boat.  However, most other boats attach the trolling motor to
the front of the boat, which allows the boater to quietly
maneuver the boat.  Fishermen, especially bass fishermen,
rely on their trolling motors to put them in a good position to
fish.
