A life jacket, or flotation device, is another product that must
be in your boat. It is a law to carry life jackets in your boat.
Make sure to check with your specific state or country to see
the regulations. There are some very innovative life jackets
on the market today. The old regulars still exist, but there
are some inflatable life jackets that are very thin and light
weight that will only inflate once they are wet. So, you can
wear a life jacket that is more like just wearing a regular
vest, but it will inflate to save your life if you need it.
