Boat Docks
If you have bought some property on the water and you own a
boat, the next step is building a boat dock. There is something
about being able to walk down to the boat dock and just hop into
your boat for a day on the water. It definitely beats trailering and
launching your boat at the boat ramp.

There are a variety of different boat docks on the market. They
can be custom made to fit a specific boat or as basic as one
straight boat dock that you can tie a boat along the side. There
are docks that can be made with a roof, floating docks, portable
docks, drive-on boat docks and we're sure there are other kinds
that we are missing. Make sure to search online or check around
your area to see what will fit your situation and budget best.
Types of Boat Lifts
There are boat lifts that are used to lift the boat out of the water.
This will help prevent damage from a storm. Boats that are left in
the water can get rocked back and forth into the dock if the waves
are big enough. Boaters that are looking to prevent this will install
a boat lift. There are standing boat lifts, floating boat lifts and
mounted boat lifts.
