The FLW recently announced its new college fishing division for 2009.  College students should be pumped because the FLW has taken college fishing to a whole new level by making it affordable for some of these students to get involved.

From the FLW Website:  FLW Outdoors will provide participating teams with a travel allowance based on the distance they travel to each tournament. Boats are provided. Just get a two-man team together, get to the tournament site and give it your best cast.   And just to make sure that students learn the true value of an outdoor education, FLW Outdoors will award a $100,000 prize package to the eventual collegiate national team champion.“We know a lot of college anglers don’t have boats,” said Kevin Hunt, tournament director. “With us, you just show up and go fishing, and we’ll take care of you.”
