Fishing Dictionary Goes Online
We just launched our fishing dictionary and we will continue to add to this section every week. There are so many fishing related words and we wanted to help educate the fishing and boating community through our website. As we continue to add new fishing terms, we will start linking to these words through various places on our website. For example, if we mention School of Fish, we will have a link that will send you to its page with a definition.
You can access our fishing dictionary page from our home page or by searching our website.
South West Florida Fishing (Dec. 8, 2008)
Fishing has been very good in south west Florida. Captain Dave Hanson (Fishbuster Charters) has had his recent clients catching lots of snapper, grouper and sheepshead to go along with triggerfish, snook and redfish.
Take a look at some of the pictures from his recent outings. (Left) Captain Dave with a 23″ True Black Grouper. (Right) Scott Kempfert with an 18 inch sheepshead, caught on a live shrimp on a recent inshore Fishbuster Charter.

December South Indian River Fishing
Fishing has been hot on the southern part of the Indian River in Florida. Fish Tales Charter Service has been reporting some excellent saltwater fishing for a variety of species such as ladyfish, jacks, trout, redfish and snook. Lots of fish have been active, which makes this a great time to get out on the water for some action. For his latest fishing report, take a look at the following link.

Inshore Saltwater Fishing - Catching your own live bait
I spent some time this morning watching some of the videos on www.myoutdoortv.com and I found a great video from Captain Joe Ward with some helpful tips for catching live bait. He uses a few different methods such as traps, sabiki rigs and a cast net. It’s a pretty short clip. Take a look.
