Take heed of new regs in Alabama
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources recently made some major changes to recreational fishing regulations.
There now is a 10-per-person-per-day limit on flounder — there was no bag limit before — and the size limits on triggerfish and amberjack have gone up. Triggerfish was changed to 14 inches fork length and amberjack to 30 inches fork length to comply with federal regulations that went into effect Aug. 5.
